Le Fay
Inspired by imagery of opium-smoking sultans, desert mirages, and sweeping sand dunes, the design takes cues from both fantasy and Middle Eastern landscapes. The result is an elegant space that feels like a desert dream — part hallucination, part M.C. Escher lithograph, part whimsical trip to Morocco.
As you step into the space, the stucco arches crafted from delicate chains provide a captivating visual twist. Adding to the atmosphere, Moroccan lanterns adorned with intricate smoke patterns case a warm glow throughout the room.
Distortion of the Senses
The experience is heightened by unexpected elements like an Escher-inspired round mirror and an inverted riad on the ceiling. Both of these elements were designed to play with perception and further enhance the sense of distortion.
